Cardiac and pulmonary rehab area, new fitness center now open

The cardiac and pulmonary rehab area and the new employee wellness fitness center open on Wednesday, July 18, on the fourth floor of the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute (southeast tower).

The entrance to the area is just past the clinic registration desk, but patients will be directed through the Heart and Vascular Institute main entrance on the first floor and the second set of elevators to get to the new space. Signage has been changed to reflect the opening.

There will be open house, highlighting the new area, on Tuesday, July 17. The cardiac and pulmonary rehab area open house is from 1-3 p.m., and the fitness center event is from 3-5 p.m.

Hours of operation are:

• Cardiac and pulmonary rehab – Monday through Friday, 6:30-11 a.m. and 12:30-3 p.m.
• Fitness center – Monday through Friday, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.-6:30 a.m. with unlimited access on Saturday and Sunday.
