Dr. Pflugfelder is Guest Lecturer for Susruta Lectureship on April 21

Stephen C. Pflugfelder, M.D., a professor and holder of the James and Margaret Elkins Chair and director of the Ocular Surface Center in the Department of Ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine, will be the guest lecturer at the 2016 Susruta Lectureship.  Dr. Pflugfelder is a noted researcher specializing in cornea, ocular surface and tear disorders.

The West Virginia University Eye Institute will host the Susruta Lectureship on Thursday, April 21, 2016, at 5:00 p.m. in the Pangilinan Lecture Hall at the WVU Eye Institute. A reception will immediately follow. This lectureship is open to all who would like to attend.

The Susruta Lectureship was created by Dr. V. K. Raju in 1989 to advance knowledge in ophthalmology with preference given to history of medicine, ethics in medicine and patient-doctor relationships.
