Harriet Tubman Lecture: Strategies to Eliminate Transplant Disparities

The WVU Department of Surgery will host Grand Rounds and the 2018 Harriet Tubman Lectureship with Visiting Professor Clive O. Callender, MD, FACS, at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21.
Dr. Callender will discuss the "National Minority Organ Tissue Transplant Education Program: Strategies Necessary to Eliminate Transplant Disparities in America."
Callender is a transplant surgeon and professor of surgery at Howard University Hospital.
WVU general surgery resident case presentations will follow at 9 a.m..
The lecture is open to faculty, staff, and students.
