Sacred Heart Hospital dermatologist to discuss myths in dermatopathology, dermatologic surgery as part of Dermatology Grand Rounds

Photo of Rahul ChavanRahul Chavan, MD, dermatologist at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Fla., will discuss myths in the field of dermatology as part of the next Dermatology Grand Rounds.

His lecture, “MythBusters in Dermatopathology and Dermatologic Surgery,” will be given Friday, May 31 at 4 p.m. at the WVU Dermatology Center for Skin Health in Morgantown.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Diagnose, manage and treat dermatologic diseases,
  • Discuss new and innovative treatments for dermatologic disease,
  • Identify rare dermatologic diseases,
  • And discuss patient diagnoses and treatment plans.

Faculty, residents, medical students and practicing dermatologists are welcome to attend. The WVU Office of Continuing Medical Education this activity for a maximum of one AMA PRA category one credit for physicians.
