Teddy Bear Clinic to be held July 14 at Monongalia County Ballpark
WVU Medicine Children's Child Life Department is holding its annual Teddy Bear Clinic at the Monongalia County Ballpark on Saturday, July 14, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. This event is free for children in the community to attend.
The event gives children an opportunity to pretend to be the doctor and learn about different medical procedures. Each child who attends will receive a free teddy bear (while supplies last) and then get to take that bear to different stations to learn about things such as getting vitals checked, parts of your blood, x-rays and casting, surgery, dental hygiene, and more.
Call the Child Life Department at 304-598-4365 with questions.
