Visual Sciences CoBRE Seminar Series: Dr. Dorfman to give presentation on age-related macular degeneration

A visiting researcher from the National Scientific and Technical Research Council will be giving a presentation on age-related macular degeneration as a part of the Visual Sciences Center of Biomedical Research Excellence Seminar Series on Friday, Nov. 10, at 1 p.m.

The presenter will be Damián Dorfman, M.D., Ph.D. Dr. Dorfman is the vice president of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology in the Laboratory of Retinal Neurochemistry and Experimental Ophthalmology and an assistant professor for the Department of Human Biochemistry at the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina. His presentation is titled "Non-Exudative Age-Related Macular Degeneration: The Macula is to Blame. Lessons from the Mouse."

The presentation will be held in HSC North, Room 3129. No registration is required, and anyone is welcome to attend.
