WVU Cancer Institute’s annual Breast Cancer Conference is Aug. 11

The WVU Cancer Institute’s third annual Breast Cancer Conference is Friday, Aug. 11, from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at the WVU Erickson Alumni Center.

The conference will focus on the latest breast cancer care technology. Prevention, early detection, treatment, and survivorship for all stages of breast cancer will also be discussed. The special needs of younger patients and older adults will be addressed.

This conference is designed for physicians, nurses, and advanced practice professionals involved in women’s health and who have an interest in management of quality of life challenges for the breast cancer survivor, as well as current breast cancer therapies and multidisciplinary management.
