WVU Department of Otolaryngology participates in national conference

WVU’s Department of Otolaryngology faculty members and residents attended the 2017 American Academy of Otolaryngology Conference held Sunday, Sept. 10 to Wednesday, Sept. 13, in Chicago, Illinois.

Nine full-time faculty members attended and presented their research work, including: Stephen Wetmore, M.D.; Hassan Ramadan, M.D., Mark Armeni, M.D.; Steven Coutras, M.D.; Adam Cassis, M.D.; Brian Kellermeyer, M.D.; Rusha Patel, M.D.; Jeffson Chung, M.D.; Michele Carr, M.D., Ph.D.

Seven residents also participated: Shilpa S Vishwanath, M.D.; Benjamin Lee Addicks, M.D.; Scott Bennett Shapiro, M.D.; Adam Bender-Heine, M.D.; Habib Zalzal, M.D.; Dan O’Brien, M.D.; Phillip Purnell, M.D., Ph.D.

The department contributed four instructional courses, 11 oral presentations and four poster presentations.
