Education

Among the primary responsibilities of the professional staff of the Office of Medical Education are teaching basic science and clinical faculty the latest education and evaluation methods in medical education. Drs. Shumway and Cottrell have individuial teaching responsibilties including facilitating PBL small groups of first-year medical students,and teaching ethics and statistics to second-year medical students. Additionally, both Drs. Shumway and Cottrell teach courses in other colleges and schools in the University.
