Services

As Director, Dr. Abascal coordinates the evaluation of all types of forensic mental health cases.  Faculty include board certified and board eligible Forensic Psychiatrists and Forensic Psychologists.  We are located in Morgantown, West Virginia, and are available to conduct a variety of forensic evaluations throughout the state and neighboring states, including Criminal Evaluations, Civil Evaluations, and Family and Juvenile Evaluations.  We also provide expert consultation, expert witness testimony, and case review to attorneys, judges, government organization, and others.  Advanced forensic methods such as measures of feigning (for malingering concerns) and extensive neuropsychological testing are available.  Preliminary and exhaustive record review is available.

Clients are scheduled for interview promptly with the appropriate person in the Division.  These evaluations are conducted at our offices, at the locations of the evaluee, or through the use of HIPAA compliant videoconferencing.  Psychological testing is performed when indicated.  Accurate reports are generated with a rapid turnaround and present clear, concise opinions that are independent and objective.
