Family Medicine Clinic Director/Assistant Professor Physician

West Virginia University is seeking a Clinic Director and Assistant Professor family physician provider for its Harpers Ferry Family Medicine (HFFM) Residency Program, Department of Family Medicine, School of Medicine - Eastern Division. Position is primarily clinical based in Jefferson County WV and may include hospital coverage at a University Healthcare Medical Center. HFFM has more than 36,000 patient visits per year.

Job duties include: oversight of the clinical operations of the clinic; provide clinical care and teach medical students and family medicine residents in all aspects of family medicine; scholarly activities are highly encouraged. Position is full-time, hours vary. Must have an M.D. degree or equivalent and successfully completed an ACGME certified residency training in Family Medicine. WV Medical License and DEA registration are both required by start date. Candidates should be BC/BE in Family Medicine.

A rural atmosphere and a lower cost of living mixed with the easy accessibility to the Washington/Baltimore areas make the Eastern Panhandle an ideal place in which to live.
