Cardiothoracic Surgeon - Adult Cardiac

 The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery of the WVU School of Medicine, and the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute is actively recruiting a board certified/eligible cardiothoracic surgeon, with a specialty interest in Adult Cardiac Surgery. The Division works within a multidisciplinary framework, providing comprehensive cardiac care to our patients. The Division is co-located with Cardiology and Thoracic surgery in a new WVU Heart and Vascular Institute fostering a collaborative quality and outcome driven framework.

Successful candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with credentials. Strong commitment to patient care, education, and clinical research is required. Experience in academic medicine preferred with a commitment to a collaborative interdisciplinary approach to cardiac care.
