Family Medicine Clinician Scientist
West Virginia University School of Medicine is seeking a Family Medicine physician at the assistant or associate professor faculty level who wishes to blend patient care with clinical research.
This position offers 50% protected time dedicated to research and grant writing with the opportunity to be mentored within our new $53M WVU Clinical & Translational Science Institute. If you wish to expand your academic training, you are encouraged to take advantage of our MS in Clinical Research or MPH at the WVU School of Public Health.
Successful candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license. Candidates must have completed an accredited family medicine residency and be board certified/eligible in family medicine. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with credentials.
