General Anesthesiologist

The West Virginia University Department of Anesthesiology is recruiting a full-time faculty Anesthesiologist. Candidates must be board-certified, or board eligible and actively pursuing board certification. Candidates with special qualifications in critical care medicine are especially sought, as are candidates with interest or experience in perioperative surgical home development. Responsibilities include education of residents and medical students. Opportunities are available for those interested in clinical/basic research.

Successful candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license. Candidates must have completed an accredited anesthesiology residency program. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with credentials.
