West Virginia University School of Medicine Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry and the Office of Student Life are recruiting a psychiatrist to assume a part-time (.63) faculty position at Chestnut Ridge Center and the WVU student mental health clinic – The Carruth Center for Psychological and Psychiatric Services -both in Morgantown, WV. Responsibilities for this non tenure, assistant professor clinical emphasis track position include various opportunities for outpatient care of both young adults in a college community setting with a wide range of psychiatric diagnoses as well general outpatient psychiatric patients. Additional responsibilities include teaching and supervision of medical students and psychiatry residents, service across both the Main and Health Science Campuses at WVU, and scholarship with opportunities for research.

Successful candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license. Candidates must be board certified / eligible in psychiatry.
