WVU School of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine is actively recruiting a full-time physician to practice in our new Fairmont Urgent Care. Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine and Pediatrics is required. Successful candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license. In addition to excellent patient care, the faculty member will have opportunities to teach residents and medical students as well as opportunities for clinical research.
The Fairmont Urgent Care location will be embedded in a multispecialty clinic with direct access to many of our specialists and full lab and radiology support.
