ALL STUDENTS – SUMMER SEMESTER TUITION due BY May 15. 

SUMMER FINANCIAL AID INFORMATION:  If you are planning to use financial aid to pay your summer bill, please check your WVU STAR Financial Aid Account (2016-2017 academic year) to see if you need to complete any additional steps for your financial aid to disburse for summer. If you were awarded a Graduate PLUS Loan, you cannot accept that through the WVU STAR system. You will need to sign in to https://studentloans.gov and complete the request for a Graduate PLUS loan there. ALL STUDENTS - REQUIRED PPD RENEWAL:  Castle Branch has begun notifying you of the School required June 1st PPD renewal FOR ALL STUDENTS!  The portal will not open until approximately May 15.  In most cases it is in your best interest to NOT get your PPD prior to May 1st and avoid a delinquent period next year.

COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY:  Capital High School HSTA (Health Sciences & Technology Academy) is having a screening fair Saturday May 13 from 8-12 and is looking for 1-2 medical student volunteers. You would be helping oversee the fingerstick screening and lipid screening stations.  (Capital is one of the Charleston high schools and is just a short drive away).  If interested, please text Dr. Jessica McColley (304-615-3769)!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Sports Physicals- with Dr. Cicchino, Tu. Jun. 6, Martinsburg High School, Wed. Jun.7 at Hedgesville High and Thu. Jun. 8 at Musselman High.  All sessions are 5:00-6:30pm and 6:30-8:00pm.  Student volunteers to assist with physicals.

REMINDER:  All students may access their personal health information through the My WVU Chart.  It is against hospital policy to access your own medical records in EPIC. 

IMPORTANT STUDENT NOTICE FOR PARKING AT BERKELEY MEDICAL CENTER:  Students may not park in the hospital parking lot.  Parking citations are being issued for student parking in patient spots. Students may park in the Health Science Center lot and also Dorothy McCormack building away from the building.

PEDS GRAND ROUNDS is broadcast from Morgantown every Wednesday 8-9 am. The first Wednesday is at the board room on the 8th floor of BMC.  The rest of the Wednesday is at the ED conference room in ED of BMC.  If you are on a Pediatrics Week, please plan to attend.
