IMPORTANT INFORMATION:  The Fall 2017 Student Health Insurance Waiver is available now. The deadline for completion is July 26th.  Questions?  Student Insurance Office. 304-293-6815.   EVERY STUDENT is automatically enrolled in the University Insurance plan and assessed in the Fall tuition UNLESS a waiver has been submitted by the deadline and approved.

We are seen as leaders nationwide in preventive nutritional medicine and population health endeavors and thanks to you all participating in our teaching encounters – we will continue to improve our offerings, Help us to secure funding, and improve on the delivery of the new information.

SHELF EXAMS:  Friday, June 16, 2017 - The Shelf Exam will be in the New Library Computer Lab (First Floor WVU Building). You will have Desktop Computers, NO NEED FOR MAC BOOKS!!!  Please arrive by 8:00 am so we can check you in by 8:15 am and begin at 8:30 am.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Sports Physicals- with Dr. Cicchino, Tu. Jun. 6, Martinsburg High School, Wed. Jun.7 at Hedgesville High and Thu. Jun. 8 at Musselman High.  All sessions are 5:00-6:30pm and 6:30-8:00 pm.  Student volunteers to assist with physicals.

PEDS GRAND ROUNDS is broadcast from Morgantown every Wednesday 8-9 am. The first Wednesday is at the board room on the 8th floor of BMC.  Remaining sessions held at the ED conference room in ED of BMC.   If you are on a Pediatrics Week, please plan to attend.  

TUMOR BOARDS - Every Thursday, 8th Floor class room, 12:00 noon -1:00 pm. Different speakers and topics.  Lunch provided. 

LITERATURE AND MEDICINE BOOK CLUB – Wed., June 21, 2017 - 5:30 pm @ Olive Garden-Martinsburg, back room.  The book this time will be The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls.  Interested individuals may contact April Reynolds, L&D Nursing Director, at ext 37015 or areynolds@wvumedicine.org for details about requesting a copy of the book or general book club questions.  

REMINDER:  Be sure all case logs are complete in E*value, and all required H&P’s are turned in to the Student Services office for review by the clerkship directors.
