Objectives

To provide exposure to and experience with, general and surgical patients seen in the office with regard to ear, nose, and throat problems, how a diagnosis is made, and the approximate results of treatment methods.

Methods to Achieve Objectives

Student will be assigned to a primary preceptor and will be exposed to patients in both the office and the hospital. There will be assigned textbook and journal readings.

Examination Procedures and Evaluation Criteria

There will be an open-book exam.
