Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

Objectives

To introduce medical students to the philosophy of plastic surgery and to care for basic surgical wounds.

Methods to Achieve Objectives

Continuous daily contact between preceptor and student in activities centered around patient care. Students will accompany preceptor at hospitals and will do follow-up on patients in the office.

Examination Procedures and Evaluation Criteria

Available from the preceptor.

Pre-Rotation Instructions

Contact assigned preceptor 1 week prior to rotation. - MUST CONTACT CHARISSA DAVIS 2 weeks ahead of time for assignment.
