PGY1 - 8 months of Internal Medicine, 2 months Neurology, 2 months Elective.
Neurology training includes at least 6 months of inpatient, 6 months of outpatient experience,
3 months of pediatric neurology, and 1 month of psychiatry training. Electives offered during training
include: EMG, EEG, Neuroradiology, Neuropsychiatry, Neuropathology, Headache, Neuroophthalmology,
Research.
Ward Rotations - 4 junior residents, 1 senior resident and 1 night float resident. Day calls are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and night float calls are from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Continuity Clinic begins in the PGY2, a
1/2 day per week for entire length of residency. This is an excellent opportunity to learn interesting common and uncommon neurological conditions in an outpatient setting.
