Nationally recognized pediatrician to present at Medicine Grand Rounds

Surenda Varma, M.D., vice chair, Pediatrics and distinguished professor at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, will present "Thank God There is a Hole in Donut -- Current Initiatives in Childhood Obesity" as part of the Charaka Lectureship. The lecture will begin at 8 a.m., Friday, Oct. 28 in Fukushima Auditorium, located on the first floor of the WVU Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Varma's presentation will be part of Grand Rounds presented by the WVU Department of Medicine. All departments and units at the HSC and WVU Medicine are invited.
