The Spark of Learning: Energizing the College Classroom with the Science of Emotion
Join your colleagues for a brown bag lunch book club session on Thursday, January 26, at noon in the Teaching Scholars Program Conference Room, HSS 2256. The session will be moderated by Susan Newfield, PhD, RN, PMHCNS-BC, associate Professor in the School of Nursing.
Discussion topics include:
- The role of emotions in teaching and learning.
- Fit between your personal values/beliefs and premise of the author.
- Letting go of the old and integrating the new, is there time?
