Hoffman named vice president and associate dean for Clinical Programs

Stephen Hoffman, M.D., was recently named vice president and associate dean for Clinical Programs in the School of Medicine, effective July 1, in addition to his roles as executive director of Clinical Program Development for WVU Medicine and professor in the Department of Medicine.

Since joining the organization in October 2015, Dr. Hoffman has been working to develop a variety of new programs for WVU Medicine. As program development touches multiple departments and disciplines, Dr. Hoffman's role and responsibilities are expanding to include more formal relationships with medical and professional staff, the Office of Graduate Medical Education, and the School of Medicine’s Dean’s Office. His primary focus is on developing signature programs which include cancer, heart and vascular, pediatrics, brain and spine, and surgical services.
