Prerequisite Courses

The following courses must be completed prior to admission to the program. Course work will only be accepted from an accredited institution in the United States. The applicant must have a grade of “C” or higher in these courses and their remaining GEF courses prior to admission. Students applying to the program may only be enrolled in a maximum of 2 prerequisite courses in the Spring semester of their application period (November through February). All other prerequisite courses must be completed by the end of the Fall semester. This does not include courses being taken to complete the WVU GEF requirement.

For Example: A student who applies completes their application may only be enrolled in Physics 101 and STAT 211 in the spring semester. All other pre-requisite courses must be completed. The student may be enrolled in any other courses needed to complete the GEF requirement.
