GRE Scores - Changes for 2011-2012

When requesting ETS to report your GRE scores to us, you should use Institution Code 7639. Please note that this Instutution Code is different from the code used for other programs at WVU. Using this code will result in your official scores being sent to PTCAS, who will verify your scores and send them on to us.

It is very important that you use the correct codes. If you do not use the correct codes, consideration of your application may be delayed.

Early Decision

New in 2011: We are participating in the new Early Decision program offered by PTCAS. The Early Decision program is a binding option for applicants who have decided that a particular PT program is their first choice and that they will enroll if accepted. As an Early Decision applicant, you can apply to only one PTCAS program until a decision on your application has been made by your Early Decision program.

For more information on how Early Decision works, please visit http://www.ptcas.org/EarlyDecision.html

Please note that our admissions committee will only consider applicants for Early Decision who meet all our admissions requirements AND have an overall GPA of at least 3.30.
