UPCOMING EVENTS

Welcome to the West Virginia University Positive Health Clinic (WVU PHC)!

The WVUPHC is a Ryan White Part C (Early Intervention Services) and Part D (Women and Youth) funded clinic that provides state-of-the-art, comprehensive, primary HIV care services to HIV positive patients in the northern 33 counties of north-central, eastern West Virginia (a mountainous region that lies completely within Appalachia) and regions of adjacent states. We provide services to a largely rural, impoverished, medically underserved area where access to care is limited.  This ambulatory HIV clinic is a subspecialty clinic of the Section of Infectious Diseases, in the Department of Medicine.  In addition to the services offered at the Physician Office Center in Morgantown, the program includes a satellite clinic in Wheeling, WV (the Northern Panhandle of the state) and supervision of care that is provided to HIV positive patients at Shenandoah Community Health Center in Martinsburg, WV (the Eastern Panhandle of the state).
