'Dress in Blue Day' Photo Shoot

Friday, March 1, 2019 from 12:00 PM - 01:00 PM

Event Location: The Pylons, WVU Health Sciences Center

Cancer Prevention and Control, an outreach component of the WVU Medicine Cancer Institute, is hosting a "Dress in Blue Day" photo opportunity to bring awareness to colon cancer.

Participants should meet at the Pylons at noon and wear blue clothing; Cancer Prevention and Control will bring fun blue accessories. All are welcome.

Colon cancer is the second-leading cause of cancer-related deaths in West Virginia, but it does not have to be. Colon cancer can be a preventable disease due to regular screening. Regular testing can find colon cancer when it is small and easier to treat and cure. If you are ages 50 to 75, call your healthcare provider and discuss your options to get tested.
