Heck presents webinar on traumatic brain injury in the military population

Did you know that traumatic brain injury (TBI) is the leading combat wound among US forces serving in Afghanistan and Iraq?

In recognition of Head Injury Awareness Month, Stephen Heck, WVU Injury Control Research Center (ICRC) student affiliate and WVU School of Public Health PhD candidate, presents a webinar entitled ‘Caring for Those with Combat Wounds.’

In this asynchronous webinar, part of the WVU ICRC’s educational offerings, Heck provides an overview of TBIs and focuses on head injuries in the military population and the challenges their caregivers face.
