Medical Laboratory Science Track of the Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics undergraduate program to host virtual open house
Students interested in learning more about the Medical Laboratory Science track within WVU School of Medicine’s Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics (BLD) major are invited to attend a virtual open house on October 15 at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom.
During the open house, prospective students will learn more about the medical laboratory scientist profession, as well as admission requirements and the application process for the professional phase of the BLD major.
Medical laboratory scientists perform sophisticated testing on patient medical samples, such as blood and fluids, to monitor patient health and assist in the identification and diagnosis of diseases.
As a part of the BLD major, students will gain the knowledge and skills required to pursue careers in the field of laboratory medicine.
