Operation Blue Sky hosting a week of events to recharge this semester

West Virginia University’s Operation Blue Sky has several events scheduled in September to celebrate Operation Blue Sky Week.

On Monday, Sept. 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., faculty, staff, and students are invited to stop by the Pylons for free drinks and snacks*, including ice cream, as part of the celebration.

On Tuesday, Sept. 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Operation Blue Sky will offer chair massages by BlissBlissBliss. Students are invited to take a break, relax, and enjoy a complimentary chair massage at the Pylons.

On Wednesday, Sept. 23, the Career Closet Pop Up will give an opportunity to explore professional clothing and resources.

HSC’s Got Talent in Okey Patteson Auditorium, originally set to take place on Thursday, Sept. 24 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., has been canceled.

Operation Blue Sky strives to create a community that feels safe, remains curious and knows how to have fun. Research shows that communities featuring these three pillars increase levels of innovation, develop stronger bonds, are not held back by fear, have a greater sense of purpose and increase productivity. Purpose Week provides an opportunity to connect and recharge.
