PBS series to feature WVU faculty
The next episode of NOVA premieres October 17
James Berry, DO, associate professor of behavioral medicine and psychiatry, and Mark Smith, MD, clinical faculty in the Department of Pediatrics, will be featured in an upcoming episode of PBS's NOVA series.
"Addiction," premieres Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 9 p.m. on West Virginia Public Broadcasting. The episode follows individuals struggling with addiction, as well as physicians and researchers as they study treating addiction as a medical condition, rather than a negative personality trait.
