On Sunday Sept. 20, there will be a planned power outage from 6:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The outage is required to perform routine maintenance on the main switchgear into J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. • Southeast Tower
  • Cancer Center Expansion (original HSC building areas will have normal power)
  • Physician Office Center
  • Eye Institute
  • Chestnut Ridge Center

Facilities crews will begin switching electrical loads back to normal power at 1 p.m. The outage will be officially complete with all loads back to normal power by 1:30 p.m.

  • Lighting will be limited to every third fixture in hallways and common areas.
  • Please turn off all office lights, computers, and electrical devices in office areas at the end of the day Friday, Sept.18.

Emergency issues should be directed to the Facilities Engineering dispatch at 74107.
