WVU Medicine employees invited to participate in second annual self-ID campaign

WVU Medicine strives to ensure equal opportunity for all individuals and to maintain an inclusive environment. Self-identification helps to measure progress toward achieving these goals. WVU Medicine is inviting employees to voluntarily self-identify their veteran and disability status.

Employees are invited to self-identify and update their information in UltiPro

The window for self-identifying is May 23 through June 9; however, employees can update their private information in UltiPro at any time.

Why is this important? Not only does this information help the organization measure progress toward equal employment opportunity, but it is vital to a successful affirmative action plan and compliance with government recordkeeping and reporting requirements.

Please note that submission of this information is voluntary and declining to provide it will not subject an employee to any adverse treatment. The information will be kept confidential and will only be used in accordance with the provisions of applicable laws, executive orders, and regulations, including those that require the information to be summarized and reported to the federal government for civil rights enforcement. When reported, data will not identify any specific individual.

Increasing representation of veterans and individuals with disabilities in the workplace starts with you. Be counted; be included -- self-identify.

Before updating information, employees can review both self-ID forms:

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Voluntary Self-Identification of Veteran Status
