WVU Medicine Jon Michael Moore Trauma Center will celebrate the 14th Annual Night of Recognition on Oct 16th, 2025
The Jon Michael Moore Trauma Center will host their annual Night of Recognition on Thursday, October 16, at the Morgantown Event Center. The event recognizes the hard work and dedication of the many professionals who comprise the trauma system from the scene of the injury through inpatient hospital care to rehabilitation and recovery. Registration for the event closes on Wednesday, Oct. 1.
During the event, stories of trauma patients will be shared, and representatives of each stage of their care will be presented with a Cornerstone of Recovery Award.
Patients recognized at previous Night of Recognition celebrations will also be in attendance at this year’s event.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Through sponsorship and ticket sales, proceeds from the Night of Recognition will provide crucial funds to the School of Medicine Department of Surgery to help support the life-saving work of the JMMTC, which provides outreach, teaching, research, and service to your trauma system team, your community, and your families.
If you are not able to attend the event but would like to make a tax-deductible donation to support the trauma team, you can make a one-time donation here. Your donation is 100% tax-deductible, and you will receive an official gift receipt from the WVU Foundation.
