Urgent Care / Family Medicine Assistant (or Associate) Professor

West Virginia University is seeking Assistant Professors for University Urgent Care facilities, School of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine Eastern Division. Urgent Care positions will rotate shifts between clinics in Jefferson or Berkeley counties WV (currently in Inwood and Charles Town). Job duties include: provide clinical care to Urgent Care patients and teach medical students and family medicine residents; scholarly activities are highly encouraged. Positions are full-time, hours vary and include evening and weekend coverage. Must have an M.D. degree or equivalent and successfully completed an ACGME certified residency training in Family Medicine. WV Medical License and DEA registration are both required by start date. Candidates should be BC/BE in Family Medicine.

A rural atmosphere and a lower cost of living mixed with the easy accessibility to the Washington/Baltimore areas make the Eastern Panhandle an ideal place in which to live.
