  • Quality education. Our faculty have expertise in diverse clinical specialty areas and utilize cutting edge methods of instruction so that our programs offer diverse academic and clinical experiences incorporating student-centered learning opportunities in and out of the classroom.
  • Unique clinical experiences. We offer high quality, unique clinical experiences.
  • Externship/residency opportunities. Most students will complete an externship (SLP students) or residency (AuD students) outside of the Morgantown area, and possibly outside of West Virginia, depending on the student’s interests and site availability.
  • Interprofessional practice. Students will have interprofessional practice (IPP) experiences with other programs in nursing, pharmacy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and medicine, among others.
  • Research opportunities. Students with research interest have an opportunity to complete a thesis track (SLP students) or a research project to fulfill their scholarly work requirement (AuD students).
  • Well-rounded preparation. We prepare students to be thoughtful audiologists and speech-language pathologists who are equipped to work with a variety of clinical populations and in a variety of employment settings.
