Helping after Helene: North Carolina AT jumps into action to assist her community

West Virginia University Athletic Training alumna Crystal Shirk stepped up to help her community after Hurricane Helene. Shirk, the athletic trainer for Charles D. Owen High School in Black Mountain, North Carolina, and a few other healthcare providers, opened a pop-up urgent care center.
