Dr. David Gamm serves as guest lecturer for the Jogindar Nath Ophthalmology Lectureship

David Gamm, M.D., Ph.D., associate professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Michigan, will be the guest lecturer at the 2016 Joginder Nath Ophthalmology Lectureship.  Dr. Gamm is also the Emmett A. Humble Distinguished Director of the McPherson Eye Research Institute and the Sandra Lemke Trout Chair in Eye Research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  He belongs to the Waisman Center Stem Cell Research Program and the UW Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Center. 

The WVU Eye Institute will host the Joginder Nath Lectureship on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in conjunction with the Ophthalmology Department’s annual research day.  The lecture will be held in the Pangilinan Family Lecture Hall at the WVU Eye Institute and will be open to all who would like to attend.

The Joginder Nath Ophthalmology Lecture was established by Dr. Joginder Nath in 2015 to promote the advancement of knowledge in the field of ophthalmology.  Due to the endowed lectureship, the Ophthalmology Department is able to provide lecturers who are nationally and internationally recognized in teaching, research, and/or practice of ophthalmology.
