BEHAVIORAL MEDICINE

Judith Feinberg, M.D. joins the Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry. Dr. Feinberg will serve as Professor and Director of Clinical Research, Addiction Medicine, with a focus on the prevention and treatment of the medical and infectious complications of opioid injection drug use. She was most recently a tenured professor of Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and Associate Chair of Medicine for Faculty Development at Cincinnati College of Medicine. She was appointed as Co-Chair of the Pilot Core of the WV Clinical Translational Science Institute last December.

EMERGENCY MEDICINE

Khaled Said, MD joins the Department of Emergency Medicine’s Community Resource Group. Dr. Said has 13 years of Emergency Medicine experience throughout the state of Virginia. His most recent Attending position was with Valley Healthcare in Woodstock, VA, and for the past year he has been on locum assignments.
 

MEDICINE
Joanna Kolodney, MD joins the Department of Medicine and WVU Cancer Institute. Dr. Kolodney practiced hematology/oncology at Lewis-Gale Hospital in Salem, VA, and was an assistant professor at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, Blacksburg VA.
