Faculty arrivals - January 2017

BEHAVIORAL MEDICINE
Sean Rogers, MD joins the Addiction service in the Department of Behavioral Medicine. He completed internal medicine residency at WVU and has been a hospitalist at UHC.

Jeremy Herschler, MD joins the Addiction team in the Department of Behavioral Medicine. His last appointment was as a staff psychiatrist at Allegany County Health in Cumberland, MD. He completed psychiatry residency and an addictions psychiatry fellowship at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

COMMUNITY PRACTICE
Mollie Cecil, MD joins the Department of Community Practice. After completing family medicine residency at WVU, she joined Preston Memorial Family Care in Kingwood. She is practicing at Marion Medical Associates and will move to the WVU Medicine Fairmont Gateway Clinic when it opens.

MEDICINE
Jami Pincavitch, MD joins the hospitalist service in the Department of Medicine. She served as Chief Medical Officer of Southwest Regional Medical Center/Washington Health System Greene in Waynesburg, PA, since 2012. She has been a hospitalist at SRMC since 2007 and the Director of Hospitalist Services since 2011. She owned a private primary care office in Greene County from 2002-2009. She earned her MD and completed med/peds residency here at WVU.

OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY
Roberta Renzelli-Cain, MD joins the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology from West Penn Hospital and Allegheny General in Pittsburgh. She held former faculty positions both at WVU and Magee Women's Hospital.

Kelly Baldrige Lemon, BSN, RN, SNM joins the midwifery service in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She earned her nursing degree at WVU and midwife/nurse practitioner degree at Georgetown. She was a nurse at Ruby Memorial for three years.

OTOLARYNGOLOGY
Christopher "Eric" Bailey, MD, PhD joins the Department of Otolaryngology as an allergy specialist. He completed ENT residency here at WVU,

PEDIATRICS
Claudiu Faraon-Pogaceanu, MD joins the Department of Pediatrics as a pediatric critical care specialist. He completed fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Yale University. He also trained and practiced in the UK.

RADIOLOGY
Kevin McCluskey, MD joins the Department of Radiology as Chief of Interventional Radiology. He was formerly the Assistant Chief of Interventional Radiology at UPMC. He completed interventional radiology fellowship at Emory University.

SURGERY
Samir Agarwal, MD joins the Department of Surgery’s colorectal surgery division. After completing colorectal surgery fellowship at George Washington University, St. Louis, he stayed on as faculty for 5 years. He completed trauma and surgical critical care fellowship at UCSD and was then Assistant Director of Trauma Services at Charleston Area Medical Center where he completed general surgery residency. He earned his MD here at WVU.

HVI
George Sokos, DO joins the Heart and Vascular Institute as Director of Advanced Heart Failure. He is also an Associate Professor of Medicine. He most recently served as Program Director, Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant, of the Cardiovascular Institute at Allegheny General Hospital. He completed heart failure and cardiac transplant medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic and cardiology fellowship at Allegheny General. He has a pharmacy degree from WVU and DO from the WV School of Osteopathic Medicine.
