WVU Pathology chair named president-elect of national association

Barbara Ducatman, M.D., professor and chair of the Department of Pathology, associate dean for Faculty Services and director of the WVU National Center of Excellence in Women's Health was recently chosen as President-Elect of the Association of Pathology Chairs (APC.) The six-year commitment with the APC will begin in July 2016 where she will serve as president-elect, president and immediate past-president during her term.

The APC is a non-profit society, which serves as the voice of academic departments of Pathology in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. APC exists to provide leadership and advocacy for the dynamic discipline of Pathology and to enable academic departments to meet the demands of their three missions - medical education, research and practice.
