The following grants are available for any research issue related to musculoskeletal trauma (excluding product development)
-Research Grants ($40,000/year maximum for up to 2 years)
-Basic Research Grants ($25,000/year maximum for up to 2 years)

Directed topic research grants: 

Clinical studies ($50,000/year maximum for up to 3 years) in the following areas:  Economic Impact of Obesity and Diabetes, Proximal Humerus Fractures,  Effectiveness of Systemic Therapies on Healing in Systemically Impaired Patients

Funding Agency - WVCTSI: Pilot Grants Program 

The goal of this Request for Applications (RFA) is to support clinical and translational pilot investigations relevant to improving health in West Virginia and Appalachia.  

Priority Funding to these areas
Cancer, Cardiovascular Disease, Community Engagement and Practice Based Research, Practice Based Research, Health Outcomes and Policy Evaluation, Emerging Epidemics in Appalachia, Neuroscience, Obesity and Metabolic Disease, Patient Centered Outcomes Research
* Prior to Clinical and Translational Pilot Grants Program application submission, all proposals that require IRB protocol approval, will also require review and approval by either the West Virginia University Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center (MBRCC) Protocol Review and Monitoring Committee (PRMC) or WVCSTI Clinical Trials Working Group (CTWG) at least sixty (60) days prior to application deadline.
