Admissions Requirements

Prospective students can apply to our six School of Medicine Health Professions undergraduate programs through multiple pathways, depending on the degree. These pathways include direct admission as an incoming freshman; application to the degree program prior to the junior year; transfer; and change of major. More information is available on our admissions requirements and Early Assurance Programs pages.

High school students can also take degree-pursuant courses and explore School of Medicine Health Professions majors through our High School ACCESS program.

Our School of Medicine Health Professions recruitment and admissions team is ready to help prospective undergraduate students learn more about the application and admissions process - whether coming in as a first-time freshman, transfer student, international student, or simply changing majors within WVU. Get to know our team!

One of the best ways to find your fit is to visit campus - either in-person or virtually. Learn more about how you can tour campus, meet with a student ambassador, or connect with program faculty!
