Basnet recognized at annual cancer immunotherapy conference
Angisha Basnet, a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in the Immunology and Microbial Pathogenesis program at the West Virginia University School of Medicine, has been recognized with a 2025 Young Investigator Travel Award at the 40th Annual Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) Meeting, held November 5–9 in National Harbor, Maryland.
Established in 2007, the Abstract Travel Award honors exceptional early-career investigators who have submitted high-scoring abstracts to the SITC Annual Meeting, reflecting both the quality of their research and their potential to advance the field of cancer immunotherapy.

Basnet was also chosen to give a Rapid Oral Presentation, allowing her to present her research during the meeting.
