Cancer Institute’s Inaugural Science Exchange

There was a packed house at the WVU Cancer Institute’s Inaugural Science Exchange held in the Erma Byrd Biomedical Sciences facility on Aug. 4, 2017  The meeting was the first in a series of conversations to energize our science with the goal of driving impactful discussion and new collaborations.  The first speaker was Dr. Linda Vona-Davis, Department of Surgery, discussing the role of the tumor microenvironment, and specifically adipose stem cells, in the progression of breast cancer.
