Community Day celebration planned at new WVU Medicine Waynesburg clinic

WVU Medicine will host a Community Day celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, at its new clinic at 451 Murtha Drive in Waynesburg, Pa.

Attendees can meet WVU Medicine providers, tour the facility, receive a free flu shot (for ages three and up, while supplies last), receive a free blood pressure screening, and take advantage of child seat safety checks (11 a.m.-1 p.m.).

There will be a teddy bear clinic and face painting, along with rescue vehicles (ambulance, firetruck, and helicopter) for the kids to tour.

Look for some special appearances, including the WVU Mountaineer and Wayne Drop, as well as a car show featuring some antique, classic, and modern vehicles (weather permitting).

There will be raffles, giveaways, food vendors – and much more!
