Department of Medicine welcomes new resident Research Analyst, Rachel Salyer

Rachel recently finished her Ph.D. in Kinesiology at the University of Georgia where she focused on the effect that aging has on movement using mixed-methods research. She has experience in the application of translational exercise interventions in older adults and clinical populations and brings a strong interdisciplinary research background to the department. She’ll be working with Jesse Thompson, Laura Davisson and the quality team in the Research and Quality Improvement training and education of the Internal Medicine residents. She’ll also be adding more bandwidth to the department's data analysis team. When you get a chance, stop in and introduce yourself, her office is 4084 HSC-N.
