Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences faculty members edit book on ocular pharmacology

West Virginia University Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences faculty Thomas Mauger, M.D., professor and chair, and L. Carol Laxson, M.D., MPH, assistant professor, recently edited a new book printed by Kugler Publications entitled “Havener’s Ocular Pharmacology: Seventh Edition.”

The goal of the book is to serve as a guide to current ocular medications and to provide a framework to aid the reader in properly positioning new therapeutic options as they become available. Recommended audiences are ophthalmologists, optometrists and students of pharmacology and visual sciences.
