Department of Surgery Grand Rounds slated for Nov. 13

Mark your calendar and make plans to join the West Virginia University School of Medicine's Department of Surgery Grand Rounds with visiting professor Rolf Nicholas Barth, M.D., FACS.

He'll present his lecture titled "Changing Paradigms in Organ Transplantation" on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 a.m. in the Pathology ampitheatre, room 2118 in HSC North.

Barth is a professor of surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, the head of the Division of Transplantation and the director of liver transplantation at UM Medical Center.

Surgery resident case presentations will follow at 8:30 a.m. after the lecture.
